The Newcastle striker is reportedly open to leaving the club this summer, following interest from Premier League giants Liverpool and others.
Isak did not join Newcastle’s pre-season tour of Asia, citing a minor thigh injury, fueling speculation about his uncertain future.
Liverpool are said to be preparing a British-record bid, but Newcastle have not yet received any official offer for the Swede.
Al-Hilal, owned by the same Saudi PIF group as Newcastle, are reportedly trying to lure Isak with a record-breaking salary package.
Reports suggest Isak is seeking around £300,000 per week, but Al-Hilal have doubled that to tempt him to Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi side have also been linked with other forwards like Darwin Nunez and Victor Osimhen as they revamp their squad, reports Echo.
Newcastle manager Eddie Howe addressed the situation during a press conference, confirming no contract talks with Isak have taken place yet.
Howe stated he hopes to keep Isak but acknowledged ongoing behind-the-scenes discussions that could influence the striker’s future this summer.
As things stand, Newcastle insist Isak is not for sale, but the situation could evolve quickly if big bids arrive.
