The 25-year-old striker has attracted serious interest this summer, with Liverpool already seeing a £120m bid rejected earlier in the window.

According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle are now aware of Isak’s reluctance to extend his contract and openness to a move.

Liverpool remain interested and are even considering making Isak the most expensive player in British football history this summer.

However, Liverpool’s recent £79m signing of Hugo Ekitike may complicate financial room for another big-money attacking acquisition.

Meanwhile, Saudi Pro League clubs are circling and willing to offer Isak astronomical wages Newcastle simply can’t compete with.

Isak did not travel with Newcastle’s squad to Singapore, citing a thigh injury, though scans reportedly came back clear, reports National World.
