
Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has confirmed striker Alexander Isak won’t feature in the club’s pre-season Asia tour due to uncertainty.
Isak was absent from the squad that traveled to Singapore and South Korea, missing the heavy 4-0 loss to Celtic.
The club initially blamed a minor thigh injury, but it later emerged Isak is exploring transfer options this summer window.

Speaking after the 3-2 loss to Arsenal, Howe stressed the urgent need for attacking signings to strengthen the current squad, reports SKY SPORTS
He acknowledged that the club has long known it needs reinforcements and emphasized the importance of new arrivals up front.
