Pep Guardiola has enjoyed a stunning spell with Manchester City but it appears he’s already thinking about the next chapter.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach has led Manchester City to several historic milestones and countless pieces of silverware since 2016.
Under his leadership, City have won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups, and a Champions League crown.

Now aged 54, Guardiola is contracted until 2027, after extending his deal in November last year. But change may be near.
In a recent interview, he revealed plans to take a break from football once his time at City comes to an end.
Asked about his future, he responded: “I don’t know. The truth is, I don’t know.” Yet he made one thing very clear.
“I know that after this stage with City, I’m going to stop. That’s for sure. It’s more than decided,” said Guardiola, reports MIRROR
How long that break will be remains uncertain: “A year, two years, three, five, ten, fifteen — I don’t know,” he added.
“But I’m going to stop after this stage with City, because I need to focus on myself, on my body, on…”
“In Catalan, we say badar. Badar, badar, badar… I want to do just that. Simply stop and watch the cows go by.”
“My grandfather used to say: you look at me like cows watch the train go by. That’s it. You stop and watch.”
Reflecting on his journey, Guardiola said, “I never thought I’d coach, or go to Germany, or England, or even manage Barcelona.”
“We think we’re in control. But no. Something always happens that puts a new path before you,” he mused with honesty.
“And then, I’ll ask: do I want to do this? If not, I’ll figure it out. For now, my plan is to stop.”
