The Spanish talent, who’s been pivotal in La Liga, is admired for his tackling, energy, and composure in tight midfield spaces.
Guerra has missed just four league matches across two seasons, showcasing durability and consistency rarely seen in 22-year-olds at top level.
United manager Ruben Amorim sees him as a perfect fit to replace Christian Eriksen and elevate his pressing-based midfield system.
According to journalist Daniele Longo, Guerra is leaning towards not renewing his Valencia contract, which has two years remaining, reports Give Me Sports.
A release clause of £86 million remains the sticking point, with no deal yet agreed between Manchester United and Valencia.
The Red Devils have already landed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, and Guerra could be their next major summer addition.
Despite interest from AC Milan and other Premier League clubs, Manchester United have moved ahead in the race for his signature.
Guerra came through Villarreal’s academy before joining Valencia at 16, now boasting 89 senior appearances and 21 Spain U21 caps.
If completed, this deal could redefine United’s midfield dynamics ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
