Newcastle United are considering RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko as a potential replacement for Alexander Isak, who could depart soon.

Isak did not travel with the squad for pre-season in Asia, officially due to injury, but exit talks with Liverpool persist.
Sesko scored 13 goals in 33 Bundesliga games last season and has attracted interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United.
Newcastle will only pursue the 22-year-old striker if Isak pushes for a move, as they prioritize maintaining balance in attack.
Bruno Guimaraes praised Isak as “a top striker,” adding the club should fight to keep their best talents.
Dan Burn said losing key players now would disrupt the team spirit built over the past few seasons at St James’ Park.
Callum Wilson left on a free transfer this summer, leaving 21-year-old Will Osula as Newcastle’s only other senior striker currently available.
